Hi everyone! I'm the Community Coordinator for 1st Hunt and am excited about the year ahead. This will be my 7th year on 1st Hunt and my 21st year at NCSSM! I live on campus with Kelley (my wife), Garrecyn (our 10 year old daughter), and Willow the pup! My goal is continuing to build a community where everyone feels welcomed, we learn from each other, and we have a lot of fun along the way!
I also am the coordinator for Service Learning! I am responsible for the service learning graduation requirement and provide opportunities to volunteering within the NCSSM and greater communities. I am also the assistant women's volleyball coach and head coach for the boys volleyball team.
I'm currently in pursuing my master's degree at UNC-G in public policy with a concentration in non-profit management. When I'm not CCing or in school, I enjoy spending time with my family, attending on campus events, and living our best life! I'm also a HUGE UNC fan - Go Heels!

Caspian Miller - 103
Hi! My name is Caspian, and I'm from Boone. I am planning to major in Biology or Environmental Studies. I love to do anything outdoors, such as hiking, swimming, fishing, biking, and longboarding! My favorite class last year was Climate Change Biology and my favorite hall activity was Gagaball. Next year on 1st Hunt, I'm looking forward to Cars movie nights, ping-pong, and building a strong hall community!
Asa Zengerle - 104
Hi! I'm Asa, and I'm from Chapel Hill, NC. Some of my interests are playing sports (I'm on the school cross-country, basketball, and track teams), reading, baking, visual art, and UNC sports (Go Heels!). I'm also the president of the Jewish Cultural Club and Model UN here at NCSSM. This year, I'm looking forward to helping First Hunt be the best hall it can be, and trying to organize fun hall activities (like a baking class or laser tag)! I can't wait to get to know everyone!

Sawyer Kribbs - 130 Annex
Hi! My name is Sawyer Kribbs, and I am from Surry County, NC. Some of my interests are soccer, fishing, hunting, and biology, where I am currently researching prion mitigation using different chemicals in C.Elegans. I plan to major in business and minor in real estate. My favorite class I took my junior year was Ecology and Chemistry because of the hands-on learning aspect. The hall activity that I enjoyed the most was gaga ball in the lounge which is quickly followed by sock wrestling. I look forward to getting to know everyone and building a close community on hall.
Reid Burgess - 132 Annex
Hey! My name is Reid Burgess and I’m from a small town in Eastern North Carolina called Ahoskie. Being from a small area my hobbies mainly consist of outdoor activities like riding dirt bikes with my friends and fishing (majority bass fishing). I plan to major in History and Political Science on the track to Law School. What I look forward to most this coming school year on 1st Hunt is meeting all the new juniors and beating them in sock wrestling. My favorite classes here at NCSSM are probably Research in the Humanities with Dr. Cantrel and Classical Genetics with Dr. Monohan.
